Westminster Presbyterian Church (WPC) was founded in 1874 as the congregation-in-residence at the College of Wooster. From its roots as a congregation serving an academic community, WPC has expanded to include members
from all segments of the Wayne County community.
Today's Westminster members are involved in projects that resonate with our 19th- and 20th-century
missionary heritage through work for Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Gifts from the Heart, and numerous worldwide peace and justice projects.
Westminster's members are widely represented in Wooster's community service and philanthropic organizations.
Many of Westminster's members see their relations to the
environment as a sacred trust and not merely in terms of vocation or avocation.
