Our main endeavor in this project is to elucidate the connection between "source" and "field" of gravity, that is between the Stress-Energy-Momentum (SEM) tensor and spacetime curvature in Einstein's general relativity. To do this we run the typical process of working with Einstein's field equations, Gμν = κTμν, in "reverse". This essentially means that we specify the curvature and then derive the SEM. We visualize the curvature with geodesics and the SEM with arrays of contour plots. As an example, we compute the SEM to create an artificial gravity field aboard a starship.
