Reports to Congress on Economic Cooperation Administration (Y 3.Ec 74/3:8/)

The Economic Cooperation Administration was established as an independent agency in 1948 to administer the European Recovery Program, otherwise known as the Marshall Plan. In 1951 the agency was abolished and its functions were transferred to the Mutual Security Agency. During its brief existence, the agency produced quarterly reports to Congress on its activities.
