Annual Reports of the Secretary of Commerce (C 1.1:)

The Department of Commerce originated as the Department of Commerce and Labor and was established in 1903. In 1913, all labor functions were transmitted to the newly created Department of Labor, and the Department of Commerce remained on its own. The first through the tenth annual reports, from 1903 to 1912, cover the joint department, and from 1913 onward, this title contained the report only of the Secretary of Commerce.
