Provides full-text access to global information on women. It includes articles from journals and newsletters, and research reports from non-profit groups, government and international agencies. Covers information on women in over 190 countries and in many disciplines, such as sociology, psychology, health, education, business administration, political science, and women's studies. It focuses on such issues as: development, human rights, the workplace, violence & exploitation, education, politics, family life, pay equity, legal status, lesbian concerns, health, gender equity, and reproductive rights. Although it does include some references to important scholarly journals, this database is most useful for its access to newsletters and research reports of women's rights and advocacy groups.
