Annual Reports, Bureau of Reclamation (I 19.17/1:, I 27.1:)

The Reclamation Service was first organized within the U. S. Geological Survey in 1902. Although the connection with the USGS was "practically abolished" in 1906, it was only in 1907 that the separation became formalized and the Bureau of Reclamation was established as a new, independent agency within the Department of the Interior. The annual report series began in 1902.
