SEER Fellow Application

SEER Fellows spend four weeks in the summer before entering Wooster as part of a research team where they experience first-hand the excitement of scientific discovery. In addition, SEER Fellows develop the scientific background and skills necessary for success during the first-year at Wooster.

Each SEER team consists of two Fellows, a SEER mentor, and a faculty advisor. The SEER mentor, an upper-class student with research experience, will help integrate the SEER Fellows into the team, with guidance from the professor who leads the project.

Research Period:
June 25 - July 20, 2012

Pay Scale : $625 / 40-hour week

Travel Allowance: Up to $250


Campus Housing:
Tentativly $15 per night

Dining:Although not all meals will be available on-campus, you will have the opportunity to sign up for a variety of meal plans ranging from 4-16 meals a week.


Additional Activities:
Weekly workshops and seminars; tutorials; informal outings (movies, barbecues, etc.)
